Start with the type of phone you want
Our phone cards fall into five groups: budget, midrange, flagship, foldable and simple flip phones. Pick the group first, then compare models.
- Budget: the Redmi Note 15, Note 15 Pro and Honor X70 are China-model phones built around big batteries and big screens. The Note 15 has no NFC; the Note 15 Pro does. The Motorola moto g (2026) is the US-market option, with long battery life and a 120Hz screen.
- Midrange: the Redmi K90 Pro Max (6.9 inches) and Redmi Turbo 5 (6.59 inches) focus on battery life and fast charging, with China-model specs. The Google Pixel 10a suits US users who want long battery life, seven years of updates and Gemini.
- Flagship: for one-handed use, look at the 6.4-inch Xiaomi 18 Pro or the 6.3-inch iPhone 17. The Pixel 11 Pro fits people already in Google's ecosystem. The Huawei Mate 80 Pro is a China-market phone for buyers focused on battery life and cameras.
- Foldable: the Huawei Mate X7 opens to an 8-inch inner screen and is sold in China only. The Motorola razr ultra (2026) folds into a pocket, with a 7-inch inner display and a 4-inch cover screen. Neither is fully waterproof.
- Flip phones for seniors: the Nokia 2660 Flip 4G and Jitterbug Flip2 have big buttons and an emergency key for calls and texts, not apps or browsing.
China model vs US model
- SIM: US iPhone 17 and 17 Pro units are eSIM-only with no SIM tray; China units take dual nano-SIM. Carriers in mainland China do not activate eSIM on US units. The US Pixel 11 Pro is dual eSIM only.
- Warranty: US iPhone 17 Pro units are serviced in the US, and Apple Stores in China do not take them. The Pixel 11 Pro has a one-year limited US warranty and no China warranty.
- Apple Intelligence: on China-model iPhones the rollout depends on regulatory approval; the US page lists the features.
- Bands: the US iPhone 17 Pro adds mmWave, which has no commercial network in China. The Redmi and Xiaomi cards advise checking bands with your carrier, and the Nokia 2660 Flip lists no US region.
- Where it is sold: the Mate 80 Pro, Mate X7 and Honor X70 have no official US sale; the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 10a and moto g (2026) have no official China sale. The Jitterbug Flip2 is marked no longer available in the US and works only on a Lively plan.
Common traps
- Chargers: none in the iPhone 17, 17 Pro or Pixel 11 Pro box. The Pixel 10a's 45W charger, the razr ultra's 68W and wireless chargers are extra, and the moto g (2026) may ship without one.
- Water ratings have limits: the Redmi IP ratings are lab ratings, so do not charge them wet. The Mate X7 is not a dedicated waterproof phone, the razr ultra is IP48 and the moto g (2026) is water-repellent only.
- Missing features: no NFC on the Redmi Note 15, no wireless or magnetic charging on the Note 15 or Note 15 Pro, and digital-only wired earphones on the K90 Pro Max.
- Small print: the Xiaomi 18 Pro's bundled cable is not USB 3. Pixel 10a satellite SOS works in the US only. The Nokia 2660 Flip has a 0.3 MP camera.
- Exact model: Mate 80 Pro specs differ from the Pro Max.
- Before ordering: we have no verified prices for the iPhone 17 Pro on either side yet, so don't treat the launch price as current; confirm the price, whether it is new, and warranty and returns with the seller.

- Xiaomi 18 Pro: a compact flagship with a 6.4-inch privacy display and Leica cameras.

Before you buy
- If you need a physical SIM, eSIM-only US iPhones and Pixels will not work.
- Check where the warranty is honored.
- Compare the listed bands with your carrier.
- Read what is in the box; chargers are often extra.
- Treat IP ratings as splash protection and never charge a wet phone.
- Match the exact model and storage.
